  • Fall Semester, 2011

    Time: 7:30 - 8:30 pm

    1) Scripture and the Mass (part 1)
    The students will explore the scripture readings for Sunday Mass. They will read, study the original meaning and pray with the scripture.

    2) Church and Sacraments (part 1)
    The students will explore the different ministries of the church. They will explore the different forms of prayer within the Church.

    3) Exploring the Story of Israel
    The students will recognize the Old Testament as God's self-revelation and they will experience the Old Testament as meaningful for their life.

  • Winter Semester, 2011
    January 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st
    February 7th, 14th and 28th

    Time: 7:30 - 8:30 pm

    4) Scripture and the Mass (part 2)
    The student will explore the scripture readings for Sunday Mass. They will read, study the original meaning and pray with scripture.

    5) Church and Sacraments (part 2)
    The students will explore the seven sacraments and their meaning in their lives.

    6) Media - Mindfulness
    The students know the benefits of the modern day media. This course offers a reflection on their responsible use of the media.

    April 3rd, 17th and 24th

    The students will explore the scripture readings for Sunday Mass. They will read, study the original meaning and pray with the scripture.

    8) Praying
    The students will expand their understanding of prayer. They will experience several different prayer forms.
