Our Parish 100th Anniversary

"What you have received as a gift, give as a gift” (see Matthew 10:8)

In June, 1913, Father John Paterson moved into the rectory to become the first pastor of our parish. In June 1914, the new parish was incorporated. It is my honor and joy to invite you to celebrate, not only the 100 years of our Catholic faith since then, but the entire history of faith that has made our parish. This special anniversary gives us the opportunity to celebrate the past history of faith, and to make history ourselves. As we prepare our year long 100th anniversary, wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could provide something for the future generations of our parish?

The Next 100 Years!
You, our fellow parishioners have responded to our parish trustees, our parish Finance Committee and our Parish Council in setting our goals for the renovation of our church building. First, you have told us you want to repair the church roof. Next, you would like us to build a narthex or gathering area next to the main doors of the church. And thirdly, you would like to repair and preserve the stained glass windows.

Now it’s time to make it happen. Please review these materials. Then, after prayerful reflection, decide how you can participate.

It is indeed an exciting time to be part of our parish. For as we build up our church building, more importantly, we will build up the life of faith in our hearts and in our parish.

Thank you for your consideration and support. Together we will continue the great history of faith in our parish under the patronage of Our Lady, the Immaculate Conception, for the next 100 years and beyond!

Sincerely yours in Jesus and Mary,
Rev. Msgr. Joseph Mirro
Pastor
